" An
ambigram, also sometimes known as an
inversion, is a graphical figure that spells out a word not only in its form as presented, but also in another direction or orientation. "

juz a simple post. lately, i get myself deeply interested in ambigram. it fascinates me when i read Angels and Demons n found out bout those things called ambigram. at first, i thought it was truely made by legendary artists like leonardo da vinci n bla bla bla.. but when i surf the internet, i found out that there are many people who can actually do this 'miracle'. then, when i was in class ( 1st sem), i was surprised to know that my friend, Taufeq, actually drew his name's ambigram by himself. n i was intoxicated by the idea to produce mine. since then, i tried to make ambigrams for different names and surf the internet to get more info on it. actually ambigram is divided into many categories such as rotational, mirror, figure-ground and et cetera. but me myself take a special interest in rotational type.
Below r a few examples of ambigrams by great artists like John Langdon.

angels & demons

this is a chinese word that means "sea". when u rotate this word 90 degrees anti- clockwise, it will read "sea". awesome.

this is "liar" that resembles a person's face. haha. (teringat kat hata)
n below r my self-made ambigrams.. of coz with the help from my friends.:)

this is "nadiah" that can be read as "nazirul" when it is inversed 180 degrees.
